AS 2010-2011

Great start - all of you who have posted media stories this summer. I am looking forward to our lessons. Bring a notebook with you to class - a spiro bound reporters' style is fine. You will also find a memory stick useful for when you are doing presentations to the group.

A2 group - get your research and your essays onto your blogs! Aswell as researching the address story that I emailed you about, watch the 'Newswatch' report that came from Malta and research the topic on social news. Do not forget the tabloid and broadsheet research; you need hard facts to back up your opinions. Be prepared to do a presentation on your papers.

A2 students newspaper story

Please note the plans to make The Evening Standard FREE from later this month. The 50p charge will be dropped and it is projected that circulation will double. What are the implications?
